Abstract

This study focuses on the wear and hardness properties of Cr and quenching heat treatment of Mo steel produced by powder metallurgy.Mo steel containing different amounts of chromium (Cr) was pressed unidirectionally at 700MPa. It was sintered at 1400°C in an argon atmosphere for 2 hours. The results obtained showed that the addition of chromium and heat treatment increased the mechanical properties.
