Abstract

This study specifically examines the wear and hardness characteristics of heat-treated Cr-Mo steel manufactured using powder metallurgy. The 3Cr-10Mo steel underwent unidirectional pressing at a pressure of 700 MPa. The material underwent a sintering process at a temperature of 1400°C in the presence of argon gas for a duration of 2 hours. The experimental findings demonstrated that the incorporation of subsequent heat treatment resulted in enhanced wear resistance and heightened hardness.
