Abstract

Coriandrum sativum, commonly known as coriander, is a type of herb and a spice commonly used in Asian, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. The fresh leaves and seeds of this plant add a unique flavor to dishes. Many herbs and spices may have health benefits due to the antioxidants, vitamins and minerals they contain. However, scientific evidence for a definitive role for coriander as a cancer-related treatment or protective factor is not yet available. For this reason, this study was conducted. Chemical components were determinated for the Coriandrum sativum extract, the inhibitory activities of these chemicals against the Crystal structure of breast cancer protein (PDB ID: 1A52 and 1JNX) downloaded from the Protein Data Bank site were compared.
