Primula longipes boiss is a member of the Primulaceae family and is found growing on wet grassy slopes or benches, moist crevices at altitudes of 1625-3400, in the Black Sea region across Rize, Trabzon, Artvin, Gümüshane, and Giresun. Studies suggest that it has been used in traditional remedies. The Primula family is known to possess antioxidant properties and contains saponins, alkaloids, tannins, terpenes, and several flavonoids. In this study, an extract of Primula longipes boiss (Primrose) was obtained using a soxhlet device and then used to make a cold cream. The antioxidant capacity of the obtained cream and plant leaf extract was examined by the DPPH method. The antioxidant activity %I value of Primula Longipes Boiss plant leaf extract and cold cream were determined as 24.81% and 7%. The DPPH antioxidant capacity of the creams was determined as 7.69 and 1.98.
