This article evaluates the reliability of bits generated by the PCG (Permuted Congruential Generator) algorithm, commonly known as a random number generator, and discusses the secure encryption of medical data using these bits. The PCG algorithm is renowned for its high capacity to generate random numbers and is potentially valuable for generating security keys from the random bits it produces. To ensure the reliability of these random bits, the article applies NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and Chi-Square tests. While NIST tests evaluate the randomness properties against various criteria, the Chi-Square test conducts randomness analysis by comparing observed data frequencies with expected frequencies. The article also delves into how these random bits generated by PCG can be utilized to obtain secure keys for encrypting sensitive image data collected by UAVs. This methodology makes a significant contribution to security-oriented applications.
