Abstract

The dynamic interaction between a flexible structure and a moving vehicle requires a complex and comprehensive analysis influenced by many parameters. because the tool and the flexible structure vibrate by affecting each other. In this study, considering the thermal conditions, the interaction between a flexible structure with simple bearing boundary conditions known as Euler-Bernoulli beam and a quarter vehicle with two degrees of freedom moving on it at a constant speed is modeled. The flexible structure used in the study is considered to have a constant cross-sectional area. However, the moving quarter consists of the vehicle mass, spring and damping elements. In the study, the temperature effect was applied to the flexible structure. The temperature of a structure has a great influence, especially on the modulus of elasticity of the structure. Therefore, the temperature effect significantly affects the rigidity of the flexible structure. This situation significantly affects the vibration characteristics of the flexible structure and the dynamic response of the vehicle moving on it. This section examines flexibility and dynamic vehicle dynamics in conditions above 60 degrees and below 60 degrees of normal temperature. As a result, the maximum displacement amount in the time-dependent vibration graph of the midpoint of the flexible structure increased as the temperature increased. However, the flexible structure has increased the maximum acceleration and displacement capacity of the moving vehicle model.
