Abstract

After the pandemic, business dynamics have changed throughout the period, and the missions they undertake in their job fields have also changed significantly. Changes in the organizational structure due to the remote working system, flexible working models, and technological integration of processes have also changed the missions of businesses, which express the roles they undertake depending on their purpose of existence in the sector. In this context, what was revealed in the post-pandemic period, including the businesses' own corporate cultures, their own business models, business philosophy, and mission statements that semantically include the holistic contributions of employees to the output given to the sector, has gained importance. One of the job fields that have undergone sectorial changes after the pandemic is the aviation sector. In this study, the mission statements on the websites of companies in the airline passenger transportation field were examined for the post-pandemic period. In this study, where qualitative data analysis was carried out, the statements examined were transformed into codescategories-themes. The categories included in the mission statements were determined as customer, quality, innovation, low cost and responsibility. In the themes, the concepts of quality, leadership and sustainability in the sector stand out.
