Abstract

Increasing climate change all over the world has revealed the importance of sustainable design. It is necessary to make the best use of limited resources and to make new designs by making use of nature without harming the environment. For this reason, certification in construction works is documented, which criteria the buildings pass in construction and operation activities. In this study, the process for the designed service building to be sustainable and have an identity is explained. It will support the design especially for the identifications that have become mandatory in local government. The study was shaped according to the completion of the local government certification process with the LEED Certificate as the target in the building design. To support this process and make further plans, building information model (BIM) support was received from the beginning of the design. As a result of the study, the building received two certificates. The fact that the study is up-to-date and prepared according to real data has also ensured that the design is up to date.
