In this study, condensation and vapor diffusion on the exterior walls of buildings for Mardin province, located in the 2nd degree-day region of Turkey, were analyzed using the Glaser graphic method according to the 2008 standard of TS 825 and the MATLAB calculation program. has been examined. Extruded polyurethane foam, one of the most preferred insulation materials in the region, was chosen as the insulation material in the study. It is assumed that the selected insulation material is applied in 2cm, 4cm and 6cm thickness. In the calculations, 10 cm thick normally unreinforced concrete was selected as the wall component. The wall model is designed to be covered with 2cm thick plaster from the inside and 3cm from the outside. In this context, evaporation and condensation amounts were determined in the wall model created for Mardin. The results obtained for the insulated wall model between double walls for 2 cm, 4 cm and 6 cm insulation thicknesses were presented in tables and interpreted for Mardin province. As a result of the study, the amount of condensed and evaporated water for the whole year was determined according to each insulation thickness, and it was determined that the best value was obtained when 6 cm insulation thickness was used.
