Abstract

Air pollution is a global issue affecting cities worldwide, including Tirana, the capital of Albania. The issue of air pollution has become a growing concern in our daily lives and is extensively discussed in this study due to its negative impact on human health. This paper aims to analyse the perception of air pollution based on survey data collected from residents of three different areas in Tirana city. Statistical analysis is realized using bivariate analysis and multinomial logistic regression models on survey data. We investigate the impact of the perceptions about air pollution and sociodemographic variables on air pollution health effects. As a result, we determine the statistically significant factors that influence the health of Tirana’s citizens.
